Leaf Necklace in Green & Pink by Messy Brunette

Maura is a Tipperary based designer & maker established in 2013. Maura's jewellery is laser cut from FSC certified European plywood & each piece she then hand paints & assembled.  She uses eco friendly materials where possible, from the resin to the glitter to the packaging, to play our part in keeping the environment in good order. Her pieces are bright and colourful, like little pieces of wearable art & hopefully something to make you smile! She uses a combination of modern techniques, like UV printing and old traditional craft methods like decoupage in the pieces.

Beautiful little leaf necklace in green and soft pink.

Did you know that the leaf can symbolizes growth, new life, renewal / new beginnings. You know those popular sayings “turning over a new leaf” and “taking a leaf from someone else's book"

Necklace is made from some lovely jade green and soft pink mirrored acrylics. The design has been etched in places & paint filled to enchance the design. The back of the necklace is finished with a matte gold piece, this too has been etched and you can reserve and wear it this way too if you like ( see last pic)

An 18inch stainless steel gold plated chain, made with a combination of paperclip and curb chain gives it a nice modern look, a cute little gem is added to finish the piece off.
